Turtles Can Fly: Lighting and Setting

The setting in Turtles Can Fly was in Iraq. The lighting in the movie was overall very gloomy; cloudy grey, skies with small lighting. I can't seem to remember any parts where there was sunlight, either. There was mostly dolly shots, with some hand-held shots; I can't really remember any hand-held shots, though.
