This film is about two Palestinian men who are are recruited to be suicide bombers in Tel Aviv. The men, who are childhood friends, are separated at the border. One of the men finds his way back to the people planning the attack, while the other man continues to carry out the plan. Whether or not the man actually carries out the attack up to the viewer to decide.
Paradise Now is an intense film, that gives the viewer the ability to come up with the ending, which, in my opinion, is a privilege.
