The movie was an action film with a low rank samurai who is poor but still lives a happy life with his daughter and without their mother then the samurai meets a childhood friend whos name is tomoe who he loves and wants to get married to but she is supposed to marry another man and then the samurai is told by his clanthat he is suppose to kill another samurai to get his honor back and at the end after he killed the old samurai he went back home and saw his two loving daugthers and tomoe and then they got married and he died three years later in the boshin war, japans last civil war.
