"The Notebook" is a story about young love, and passion, a young man by the name of Noel falls in love with Ally, who is from a wealthy family, throughout the movie, the audience is able to see and witness not in person of course but in the film the strength of true love, and hard work people put into it. The film is a perfect example of identity and family, Ally has to deal with her families wealth, and her obligation to marry someone from the same standards. Ally goes through identity changes, when she has to choose between a wealthy man that's perfect for her family's taste, and Noel who's very poor, but thats where her hearts at. Ally is able to be two different people with those two different men.
Lighting in The Notebook is very bright and happy, the first couple of scene's are bright and vibrant colors. However the scene where they lost saw each other when they were young, the lighting is very dark, almost looks like if only a candle was on. The Notebook is a great example of Family and Identity..!!!
