Angelas Ashes

At first you see the dad stumbling down the street singing. Its darker and kind of gloomy with the reflection of the moon. The second scene they are using a blue light filter and showing them picking up coal. The colors suggest that that they aren't happy with having to do so. In the last scene you see Frank on the boat to New York and the director is using a yellow light filter to send happy tone and imply a newer better life for Frank.
