The Overture
The movie had a quite elaborate setting because it switched from time to time...literally. It took the story from Sorn, the main character, bed-ridden in the 1940s and making a series between his time around in the 1940s and when he was younger in the late 19th century. The lighting had a high contrast and low saturation type so the colors where very bad quality in a decent way. Sorn had a close relationship to his brother until his brothers death and Sorn's father had feared that the samething might happen to Sorn if he continued in his brothers footsteps by playing the Ranad ek in a wrongful way.
